Polar Mobile's credit-building feature converts your wireless subscription into a Retail Installment Contract (RIC). This product is not a loan, credit card, or traditional line of credit. Participation in the credit-building program is optional and separate from your wireless service. You may cancel your wireless service at any time. If you cancel prior to the conclusion of your RIC term, Polar Mobile will not report your account as defaulted or delinquent. However, early cancellation may still affect your credit score — for example, closing an account early can reduce your length of credit history and impact your credit mix, both of which are factors used by credit scoring models. Polar Mobile is not responsible for any credit score changes resulting from account closure.

Polar Mobile reports payment activity to Experian monthly. Reporting to Equifax and TransUnion is forthcoming. On-time payments are reported as positive tradelines; however, Polar Mobile makes no representation that participation will result in a specific credit score increase or that reported information will be reflected in all credit bureau files simultaneously. Credit scores are calculated by independent third parties using their own proprietary models; Polar Mobile has no control over those calculations.

No credit check is required to subscribe to a wireless plan. The credit-building enrollment process may require identity verification in compliance with applicable Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-fraud requirements. This verification is not a hard credit inquiry and will not negatively impact your credit score.

Polar Mobile is not a bank, credit union, or licensed lender. Wireless and credit-building services are provided by Moxee Technologies, LLC. Wireless service is provided through a third-party carrier network. Polar Mobile is not responsible for network coverage, availability, or performance of the underlying carrier.
